Sturdy, roomy and affordable

A terrific addition to the Albek range. The Econohaul is much more affordable than the excellent Meridian but gives little away in terms of space.

A single large compartment works best when you use packing cubes and helmet/boot bags, and you can stash an astonishing amount in there. Dual stitched handles are well placed, and the retractable handle is sturdy.

My only criticism is that the wheels are a bit too close together, which does introduce some instability when negotiating uneven terrain.

For the price, though, the Econohaul is almost impossible to fault, and I look forward to years of use!

Lightweight and practical

This is my first Albek pack and I use it for my mountain bike coaching business.

It has plenty of room for the bits I need and the chest harness is the most comfortable I’ve used.

Hip Hauler par excellence

I have just rec'd my Hip Hauler, and using it on my first trip with adventure bike (CFMOTO 450MT) up into the Alpine National Park. This trip will see some lengthy travel legs as I go from Mornington Peninsula up to Alpine NP NE of Omeo. Hip Hauler is my preference to having the bulk and weight of a backpack for such a trip. It has quite an amazing internal capacity that is not evident until you look closely at it, and I expect it to be my goto for this and future trips. I like the way it fits snuggly around your waist.
