Last weekend saw the Supercar Teams return to Tasmania for the super Super Sprint series. Red Bull Ampol Racing’s Shane van Gisbergen takes three-from-three in Tassie, Broc Feeney scores his maiden Supercars podium
Shane van Gisbergen - Car #97
“The first few laps were pretty wild and there were a few little battles going on which was pretty cool.
I started making some moves and tried to push but it was unknown what these new tyres were going to do, but my car was really good and I got through to the front..”
Broc Feeney - Car #88
“It was really cool to get into the shootout twice this weekend. I had a great start and my first stint was awesome running P2.
Towards the end of the race, the rain really came down and it was a tough one towards the end, especially after the restart it was really hard to see. The whole event has been good for us. Obviously, qualifying has been really solid for us, especially today.
There are certainly positives to take out of it but there’s certainly a long way to go.”
